Hello. My name is Derek Raddatz. This is my 7th year at Lawton. I have been teaching 2nd grade for the past 2 years. Prior to teaching 2nd grade, I taught kindergarten. It has been a pleasure to have some of my former students again in 2nd grade. Before I taught at Lawton, I was a 1st grade teacher in Flint, Michigan for 5 years. I live in Toledo with my wife and our blended family. Between us we have 5 children total. Many students in my classroom will hear endless stories about my kids and fishing (my favorite thing to do outside of teaching). Most of my time lately is spent on working towards my masters in educational administration (principalship) online through Arizona State University. I may be a Sun Devil now, but I will always be a Spartan, GO GREEN!
